The Lakewood Forest Civic Association is a benevolent organization serving the neighborhood by providing events, activities and services that bring the residents together and make Lakewood Forest a better place to live. Homeowners support the Civic Association through a voluntary $15 donation paid through the HOA or directly to the Civic Association. The board members and other volunteers use those funds judiciously for the betterment of the residents and the neighborhood as a whole. Every year, the Civic Association organizes and co-hosts numerous community events with the Lakewood Forest Fund (the HOA) as well as with the Lakewood Residents’ Club on occasion.
The all-volunteer Civic Association board meets monthly except December, generally on the first Tuesday of the month, at 7pm at the Lakewood Forest Fund office. The annual meeting and election of board officers takes place in October at the Fund office. All residents are welcome and encouraged to attend and participate as volunteers in our events and activities.

Community-wide Garage Sales twice a year
Military Care Packages sent to our service members
Curb Number Painting every five years
Supporting our kids’ elementary and middle schools with modest donations toward specific needs at those public schools
Other important actions include supporting the Lakewood Lightning swim team.
